The Chapter House

Front Our house is located at 1085 Morewood Avenue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on the fraternity quad of the Carnegie Mellon campus. The house is easily recognizable by the stone lions guarding our entrance. In the summer of 2008, we were fortunate enough to receive a universiy-funded renovation. The $1.5 million job has been the most extensive restoration in the history of the house. The brotherhood worked with Lami Grubb Architects and representatives from Carnegie Mellon University Housing to ensure a comfortable home-like theme. We've received new flooring, a full restoration of the kitchen, and a total overhaul of the second and third floors. We now hold 6 doubles, a triple, a single, and a washer and dryer on each floor with an overall capacity of 32 brothers. We've also received a brothers-only chapter room in the basement for meetings and study sessions, a pledge room on the first floor, and beautiful new handicap accessable bathrooms on ever floor. Social events are usually held on the first floor or in the spacious basement which can accommodate large crowds of partygoers. Please feel free to come by anytime and check out our new home.
